‘A Cold Winter Night in July’
Description
Seeking voiceover talent for “A Cold Winter Night in July,” a feature-length experimental documentary. The film will serve as a form of visual landscape poetry, accompanied by music, soundscapes, and a form of improvised narration. No actors or interviewees will be physically present in the film, only their voices accompanied by the various shots of landscapes. Seeking actors/voice actors interested in recording audio of disturbing stories (unscripted/improvised). These stories can be true or they can be complete lies. Not knowing which ones are true is what ties these audio recordings into the film’s themes of mystery, horror, and the unknown. The goal is to create a contradictory relationship between the landscapes photographed and the stories being told.
Production states: ” I can’t promise everything submitted will make it in the film but I will try to include as many as possible.”
