Currently looking for actors to fill the cast for upcoming heist thriller short film. More detais are below.

Rate:
While this is a non-union and volunteer position, it is not just a student film set.
Transport can be arranged, and craft will be provided alongside meals throughout the day.

Additional information:
Shooting is planned to take place primarily around the Mississauga area from April 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st, but the main days would be excluding the 20th, which they are leaving as a buffer day for now.
Directors are very flexible with the character ages and descriptions, so please do not let it deter you from reaching out.
Experience is an asset but not necessary.

When applyng, please submit the character you would like to play, and directors will send you a portion of the script.

Main Protagonist
Male, Both genders.

Should have a believable younger brother to play alongside him: The main character is male who lives with his younger brother. He works to provide for himself and his brother after the passing of both their parents. Living a life of crime in the past, he has developed a set of “skills” over the years through robberies, intricate cons, and heists. He often led these operations and served as the leader of his gang.

Main Antagonist

The gang leader is a slightly older male to the main character. The main character and the gang leader worked together extensively in the past, serving as his right-hand man. Upon the main character’s exit from the gang, he has stepped up as the new leader and continues the string of operations to make a living. He has recently received intel on another score, but needs the guidance and skills of the main character in order to pull it off.

Younger Brother

The younger brother is a younger male to the main character, who is essentially fed up with the lifestyle his brother is giving him in lieu of “taking care of him”. After their parents passed, his brother blew through the inheritance money pretty quick, and they are barely getting by now. He manages to land a job at a logistics company, and heads for his first interview.

Additional Gang Members

Should play believable gang members: Two more members of the gang who serve as supporting characters to the main antagonist. These two characters will be part of the “main” gang pulling off the heist, alongside the protagonist and antagonist. Three additional separate members are needed for the opening scene, Five in total.
