About the project:
When given a chance to confront his mother who went through a procedure to forget about him, twelve year old Theo tries to convince Louis, a resentful forgotten, to take him to her. Unable to persuade him, Theo tries to escape, but when given the choice to chase after the mother who doesn’t want him, or stay with the outcasts who truly love and need him, Theo accepts his life surrounded by Louis and the other forgotten in his care home.

A forgotten and a musician, who, in the process of being dedicated to art got so involved by it, that he neglected the people in his life, until he got forgotten by them, turning him into a resentful and frustrated person.

Since being a forgotten herself, she has gone through the painful process of accepting being abandoned, and from it, created a home for others to find themselves again. Kind, considerate, Caring, but stern. She sees everyone at face value, and calls them out when needed. She is empathic and understanding, but a force of power when it comes to being there for others.

Open Soft spoken and funny, she knits for the residents and has grown to love Theo like a grandson. She brings light into the house. Stella is delicate and funny. She spends most of her day threading with Abuela or playing cards with Victor. She was the third forgotten to reach Abuela’s house. Heart broken at first, Abuela and Victor got her back on her feet. The house has her knitting projects all over, she gives everybody who gets there a scarf. At the time of the story, she is making Theo’s.

The comedic relief with a big heart. Energetic and kind, always trying to make people feel welcome. Happiest character in the home. He never felt like he belonged anywhere before being forgotten, he used to feel like a failure to everyone, which made him resentful. Once Abuela brought him to the house, he started cracking jokes, playing around, feeling a sense of purpose. Since helping out Stella, and being there for Theo, he has found a sense of belonging.

Additional Character. Theo’s mother. Elegant, distant, emotionally suppressed. Her decision to forget Theo haunts the emotional centre of the story. is a determined writer and artist. Her love for her art and dedication to it are her reason for forgetting Theo, as she saw her writing and her desire to be someone who would make it in the complicated world of creatives, as the thing that pushed her to make the choice to let go of her son to chase success.
