About the project:
“Half light” follows the emotional turbulence between Joel and Layla, two former lovers who reunite briefly before Layla’s departure. As Joel wrestles with his lingering feelings and Layla hesitates to confront unresolved emotions, their time together is marked by tender moments, quiet resentment, and the weight of unspoken truths. A night out at a birthday party pushes their tensions to the surface, culminating in a confrontation that forces them to acknowledge the deep fractures in their relationship. As the night winds down, both are left questioning love, timing, and whether trying is ever enough.

His silence, subtle expressions, and passive actions mask an internal storm of longing, confusion, and insecurity. -jittery -very open body language -paces in situations of stress - groups are an anxiety trigger.
