Casting actors for “Pereachago” Project, please see the details below.
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED.

About the project:
Logline: After a tragedy strikes – an overly guarded young woman tries to stop her family members from going deeper into their unusual grieving processes.
Synopsis: Eloise returns to her family home from her stressful job as a teacher’s assistant in a different city – because her younger brother Lucas has recently and suddenly passed away. At home, her remaining brother (and twin of Lucas) Logan has seemingly regressed to his 8-year-old self. The interior of the house is completely covered in paintings and drawings of “PEREACHAGO” – the imaginary world the siblings used to play pretend in as kids. Eloise gets increasingly frustrated with her mom, Joyce, for being not only tolerant of Logan’s behavior but encouraging. Eloise and Joyce clash over what’s best for Logan. Eloise, of course, thinks Logan needs to get his life back on track, and Joyce wants to give Logan the space to grieve however he needs. Joyce argues that Eloise was too young to understand what it was like for Joyce to grieve and take care of her children when Eloise’s father died. Because Eloise was too young to understand, Joyce believes that Eloise has no place in telling how her other family members should grieve. In a very vulnerable moment, Eloise shares the realization that she had to grow up taking care of her younger brothers because her mom was so heartbroken and unable to be as responsible as she should have been. Because Eloise never really had a childhood, this has resulted in her being so judgemental now in the present. She’s jealous that her brother, Logan, gets to resort to a child-like persona to cope with his trauma, but Eloise feels the pressure that she has to be responsible. After this realization, Eloise helps Logan expand Pereachago and understands that this is Logan’s way of connecting with their dead brother, Lucas.

Battling the grief of losing a son, Joyce does her best to keep a strong front in order to be there for her other children’s needs.
