About the project:
A Murder is Announced is a classic whodunit set in the quiet English village of Chipping Cleghorn. The townspeople are shocked when a mysterious advertisement appears in the local newspaper, announcing that a murder will occur at Little Paddocks, the home of Letitia Blacklock, at 6:30 p.m. that very evening.
Despite thinking it’s a party game or hoax, curious guests gather at the house. At the appointed time, the lights go out, a gunshot rings out—and a real murder takes place.
Enter the unassuming but sharp-witted Miss Marple, who sifts through secrets, false identities, and long-held grudges to uncover the killer. Twists and red herrings abound in this suspenseful and witty mystery.

All characters have an English accent except Mitzi & Rudi. Character ages are suggestions and are flexible apart from Miss Marple.
Audition requirements:
– A 1-minute monologue (comedic or lightly dramatic)
– A pen
– They will be doing sides as well which sets will be provided.
