About the project:
Staged reading of episodes 1-2 with live audience and live radio broadcast. (90 min performance)
Brief description: “The Case of the Mysterious Lenticular Glass” is a historical fiction/radio drama that is set simultaneously in 1899 as Marietta, a collector of optical antiquities investigates the mysterious content of a leather pouch and in 1609 as Galileo is on the verge of inventing his telescope. The fictional characters interact with historical figures within the context of actual scientific and cultural events of the period. Each episode is 40 minutes long.
