About the project:
Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! This two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of four), an onstage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned romance!

October 17-26, 2025
Friday, Saturday 7:30 pm. Sunday 2:30 pm

General Rules
All actors and crew members must be available for rehearsals, tech week, and performance dates. Any rehearsal conflicts MUST be discussed and approved prior to audition. Tech week and show dates are mandatory.
Everyone is expected to be on time. The directors will start on time and try to leave on time, but you have to show up ready to do your part. It is recommended you show up at least 10 minutes early for rehearsal to preparecostume days even sooner. Lets all respect each others valuable time.
The Director has the final say in all matters. Please respect their vision and big picture of the performance. Suggestions are welcome, but in the end, it is the Directors decision. DO NOT ask other actors for advice on your performance. While they mean well, they can ruin the overall big picture.
Respect each other. No political or religious discussions. Be polite.
Finally, have fun. This is a fun, comedy performance. If you arent having fun with it, it will come across dry to the audience.
