Production states: “The director is trained from the Harvard University School of Extension’s Dramatic Arts program, in the area of screenwriting, direction, production, post-production, and acting.”

Assistant to the Director
Seeking a current student or recent college graduate only. The most qualified candidate is business-minded, a versatile fixer in pre-production, and has a passion for learning and participating in the process of film-making. To act as a liaison between the director and the production crew/cast; interested in learning film direction either as an assistant-director or co-director, depending on the level of experience. The successful candidate will help the director in the area of actor selection, audition, rehearsals, production, and also post-production (the job of a post supervisor) if interested. Talent must have an iPad to use Final Cut pro, daVinci Resolve and Logic pro. The candidate will coordinate all aspects of the preproduction and production plan in NYC via working remotely or meeting crew/cast locally to hire, train, rehearse, sign paperwork, etc. This job is not as same as an AD, but a liaison between the director and everybody else who will keep the production team on toes with the director. Production states: "The Director will provide the training in the same way as provided to Harvard Students, this also includes weekly brainstorming, rehearsal techniques, script analysis, hiring plan, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, logistics, post-production plans, etc."
