About the project:
Its 1962 in Baltimore, and the lovable plus-size teen, Tracy Turnblad, has only one desire to dance on the popular Corny Collins Show. When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from a social outcast to a sudden star. She must use her newfound power to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a TV network all without denting her do!

Rate:
Limited actor stipends are available for specific roles. stipends typically range from $100 to $400.

Please submit a single video file of you singing 32 bars from a song in the style of the show with track or accompaniment
You will need to upload a headshot and acting resume in addition to your video file.
Rehearsals will begin Monday, April 28, 2025.
Typically, rehearsals will be Mondays – Thursdays from 7:00 – 10:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Tech Week rehearsals on June 2 – 5, 2025, will be Monday – Thursday and will begin at 6:00 PM.
There may be a Q2Q rehearsal on Sunday, June 1, 2025.
Performances:
June 6 July 6, 2025.
Fridays at 7:30 PM.
Saturdays at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM.
Sundays at 2:00 PM.
