About the project:
Genre: Neo-Noir, Action, Crime, Romance A harrowing odyssey through the night from two perspectives: two lovers in crime and a rookie-experienced cop duo. The directors’ love of Hong Kong action films, shines through in this high octane script, with a story and world rich with history, the dialogue sparse, and the story told all in one eventful night, Where the night Ends is a Shakespearean Tragedy wrapped in a chorus of Neon lights, and a choir of gun shots and Katana slashes. This project is going for Gorillia film making in the purest sense. A skeleton crew of passionate artists, running through China town in the dead of night. If you are ready to create some lore, and have some crazy stories to tell in the future, this project is for you. Themes Bringing justice to the system as a nobody (You are bound to fail) The couple thinks they can bring justice to the corrupt system, but as the film shows the audience, they are just another pair of delinquents who are insignificant in the grand scheme of things, and there were many just like them who failed Blindly believing that the system is simply black and white Ace believes the system is inherently good, and that the government (authority) will naturally be just and perfect.

This project includes extensive choreographed fight and movement scenes.
While you do not need to be a trained stunt performer, all actors MUST be comfortable learning and performing physical choreography.
Several rehearsal and stunt training dates will be scheduled (TBD), and flexibility for those sessions will be important.

He’ll be the first to chase a crook down and rush into a gunfight- if he believes it is for the greater good.

Spade is a jaded and crooked cop. A greasy was, who despite having a deep and stinging sense of shame- there is also a sense of pride. He is quieter, calmer, and slower- however there is calculation to his movement. He has been in the force for decades, and starting his career in the 30's he is familiar with every corner of the city and everyone who is in it. His views are much more grey, he will actively deal with criminals, and has lost partners, friends and family to the system.

He is emotionless, a cold hearted killer who is terminator-like in his drive to complete his task. Once bit, he will never let go, (along with his white hair) has earned him the name of Snow Leopard (Yukihyo) a hunter, a predator, whom you cannot escape. Arrogant, and prideful he belies he is above everyone.
