About the project:
Beautiful is a wild ride of a musical that starts with a young, spunky songwriter from Brooklyn known then as Carole Klein. From the chart-topping hits she wrote to her life-changing success as a trailblazer, this musical takes you back to where it all began with the inspiring tale of the girl with a unique voice who became King.

Callbacks on Thursday, March 21 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Please prepare 16-32 measures of a pop song from the 50s, 60s, or 70s (nothing by Carole King) that shows off your voice, and bring sheet music in the correct key.
An accompanist will be provided. Auditionees may also bring recorded accompaniment; a cappella is permitted but discouraged.
The audition will include choreography, so please dress comfortably, and bring your jazz shoes (if you have them).
Rehearsals will tentatively begin April 1, 2024, and be held Monday-Friday evenings.
PERFORMANCES:
June 7-9, 13-16 & 20-23, 2024;
Thursday-Saturday performances at 7:30 pm;
Sunday matinees at 2 pm;
Additional Saturday 2 pm matinees on June 15 & 22.
