About the project:
Screenplay based on true events that took place in 1989 South Brooklyn. This coming-of-age dramedy about a group of unruly troublemaking male teenagers who inadvertently robbed the movie set of one of the most iconic films in cinema history, setting off a chain of events that would shape their lives forever.

She's Italian, but not over-the-top Italian. More Linda Cardellini in Greenbook than a Sopranos extra. She is not polished or sophisticated, curses often, but she is a good mom.

He is a little nerdy, naive, but smart and confident in who is is. He sticks out like a sore thumb in this rough-and-tumble neighborhood. He ends up being Billy's needed father figure and Marie's love interest.

Always shirtless and smoking a cigarette when he's not riding around on his BMX selling weed or coke. He is Billy's best friend and the two have a special bond.

Tall, blue-eyed Nordic, and muscled up like he's 25. His blonde hair was always shellacked back in a DA with a can of Aqua-net. Huck was probably Billy's 2nd best friend. Trouble and bad luck always had a way of finding Huck, maybe because he was an alcoholic before his 16th birthday. He was often the ring leader with whatever trouble they all got into. Yet, he was loyal and always had their asses.
