About the project:
“Neighbourly Neighbors” is a short political satire set in a quiet suburban neighborhood. The story follows Blue State America, a disheveled, drunk man who stumbles to confess his love for Canada, his polite and reluctant neighbor. Claiming hes leaving Red State America, his volatile and aggressive partner, Blue State, tries to convince Canada to take him in but things quickly spiral out of control. The film is a character-driven, dialogue-heavy comedy with strong political undertones. It relies on sharp timing, cultural references, and satirical portrayals of North American dynamics.
