“The Forest’s Edge” The backbone of this small-town. walks around with his head held high between his shoulder. He is the epitome of law enforcement, crooked and all. Since he knows his status in the force, he has no problem living a double life intertwined in the dark secrets of the forest. Being a key figure in this investigation allows him to mask all connections to the cult, putting on a respectful, helpful, and friendly façade.

“Angel Dreams” Is no-nonsense and practical, but not uncaring, evidenced by his long friendship with his best friend, Brigid. Aaron tends to be very positivist in his belief about the world and people, thinking that anything can be explained by logical proof. This has a great bearing on how he walks through life, and certainly how he approaches the tragedy that begins the trajectory of the story of “Angel Dreams”.

“Angel Dreams” Is deeply empathetic yet often guarded; feeling things so deeply that she hesitates to share those feelings, for fear that they will overwhelm those near to her. Though nearly the opposite to Aaron, they’ve maintained a long and reliable friendship for years, and she can feel comfortable in his presence. That same deep empathy and belief in the interconnectedness of life guides Brigid’s life, and of course how she deals with the tragedy that incites the events of “Angel Dreams”.

“Angel Dreams” Was a quiet and kind girl, close to a friend of Brigid’s while at college and not much to anyone else. She kept to herself and yet in her passing, rocked much of the community around her by its suddenness. In Aaron’s dream she appears more like a vision; a vessel with a message for him to deepen his understanding of empathy for others.
