The Content Marketer role combines elements of content strategy, creation, and marketing to drive engagement, develop audiences, and make a name for Ready Set in the industry. You’ll create, improve, and publish high-impact content across various platforms, managing the editorial strategy and content lifecycle from ideation to publication.
The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about media, content, creative, and the details that go into taking a concept from ideation to implementation. You also have a keen understanding of content’s role in achieving business objectives, with a special emphasis on engaging target markets and elevating brand awareness.
What you’ll do:
Manage the creation of original and AI-assisted content, including video series, podcasts, emails/newsletters, sales collateral, and other content that educates, inspires, and engages the audience.
Work closely with sales, leadership, marketing, and client teams to brainstorm, develop new content ideas, and produce content that differentiates Ready Set from the peers.
Conceptualize new projects and experiments including new content series and channels to test.
Use data from internal resources and third-party insights to develop content topics that elevate Ready Set’s reputation as a thought leader in the market and accelerate the sales cycle.
Monitor trends and stay up-to-date with industry developments to influence content strategy.
Develop best practices and guidelines for content production with marketing leadership.
Report on the results of content marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize reach and impact.
You have:
4+ years experience creating/working on content across multiple disciplines (podcasts, webinars, video content, etc). You will be required to showcase this work during the interview process and talk about its impact.
Knowledge of the digital marketing industry preferred; you understand the landscape of social media, paid search, display, connected TV, etc. ideally in verticals such as ecommerce, mobile apps, consumer brands, etc.
Strong understanding of the content marketing landscape inclusive of platform-specific strategies and best practices; experience growing YouTube channels a plus
Entrepreneurial spirit, resourceful, and drive to take initiative; exceeds goals successfully and is a master of time management
General understanding of AI-assisted content production processes and current industry trends in using AI to support content creation.
Excellent at figuring out the processes to get things done, understands efficient workflows and has a strong attention to details.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective cross functional relationships.
