About the project:
The classic drama set during the Salem Witch Trials, this production will be presented as an examination of mental health, exploring the effect of the trauma of a Puritanical society on young women. The piece will explore conversion disorder, a type of mass hysteria that creates a somatic manifestation of trauma.

Rate:
All artists involved in a company’s production will be compensated on a sliding scale according to the time demands of their involvement in the production throughout the process: from pre-production through the rehearsal period and through the final performance. The scale will be determined at the beginning of each production process, as it will vary for each production based upon how many artists are involved. The scale will be made available for review by the invested members of each production. All ticket sales will be divided among the members of the production based upon the pay scale of that production. The box office sales will be made available for review by the invested members of each production. Complimentary ticket (and other similar offers that will affect the price or quantity of tickets sold) policies for each production will be decided by the invested members of each production.

Please prepare a 60-second dramatic monologue. memorization is not necessary.
Callbacks will be held Sunday April 27.
Rehearsals will take place in July and August, and will be scheduled according to cast and crew availability.
