Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Pippin”, and “Scrooge”. Seeking actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the breakdown below.
About the project:
“LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS”: The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!
“PIPPIN”: Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.
“SCROOGE!”: In this timeless musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night, after being visited by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley, and the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future.
