Performance Dates: June 19th – 22nd
VOCAL AUDITION
Prepare 16-32 bars (about 1 minute) of a musical theater song in the style of Footloose (pop/rock, contemporary, or classic musical theater).
Bring a backing track (no vocals) bluetooth speaker and CD player will be available .
Some characters may be asked to sing specific songs from the show (e.g., Ren: “I Cant Stand Still,” Ariel: “Holding Out for a Hero”).
DANCE AUDITION
Be ready to learn a short Footloose-style dance combination (wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in).
No prior dance experience is required for all roles, but some roles require strong movement skills.
ACTING AUDITION
Sides from the script will be provided at auditions.
Be familiar with the shows characters and story.
