About the project:
The Story – Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which, he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett’s luck sharply shifts when Todd’s thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up… and the carnage has only just begun!

Please plan a song 30 seconds to 1 minute long that demonstrates your vocal range.
You are welcome to sing any song from the show as well as any song in the genre of the show. Please do not plan on singing “Happy Birthday.”
Also will be reading a little from the script. Please be prepared for this!
There is not a lot of dancing in the show, but directors may have a little dance piece for you to learn to see how you move on your feet. Please wear comfortable sneakers.
Performances—October 31, November 1, 2, 7, 8, and 9.
Rehearsals are tentatively planned for Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
