About the project:
Told entirely through song with the help of a main character Narrator, the musical follows the preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he ingratiates himself with the Egyptian noble Potiphar but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife.

Joseph is the central character of the show. He's the youngest and most favored son of Jacob. His brothers become jealous of him because of the special coat his father gives him, and they plot to get rid of him. Joseph is dreamer, optimistic, and charismatic. He has a unique ability to interpret dreams, which ultimately leads to his rise to power in Egypt.

Jacob is Joseph's father. A loving, doting parent, he has a special attachment to Joseph, which causes tension with his other sons. Despite his love for Joseph, Jacob's favoritism and his sons' jealousy lead to Joseph's misfortune. Jacob is deeply troubled by the events involving his sons but has faith in his dreams and his son's potential.
